Who to talk to
Grown-ups you can talk to about anything at the Rainbow DJ Lab.
You can talk to
- Any coach at the Lab. There are always at least two grown-ups in class.
- Your grown-up at home. Tell them about your day, the good parts and the hard parts.
- Stephen Henry. He leads the Lab. Your grown-up can call or email him.
What you can talk about
Anything! For example:
- "I don't understand the mission."
- "I don't want to play in Spotlight today."
- "My headphones are too loud."
- "I need a break."
- "Someone was mean to me."
- "Something made me feel weird or scared."
Stuck on a DJ skill?
First, ask your Co-pilot one question. Still stuck? Ask a coach.
Need a calm-down break?
Tell a coach. You can sit in a calm spot. A grown-up will be where they can see you, and other people can see them too.
Something feels unsafe?
Read If you feel unsafe. It's never your fault. You can tell any grown-up you trust. In an emergency, call 911.
