Hey, DJ! This page is for you
Pages just for kids in the Rainbow DJ Lab. What happens, the rules, and who to talk to.
Welcome!
The Rainbow DJ Lab is a free class where kids learn to DJ. You'll learn how to mix songs, find the beat, and make a crowd dance.
The grown-ups are still getting the Lab ready. There are no class dates yet. Your grown-up at home will tell you when it starts.
What you'll do
- Use a real DJ controller. It has lights that help you match the beat.
- Work in a team of 4 kids.
- Take turns with fun jobs: DJ, Co-pilot, Hype and Logger.
- Earn stamps in your Passport.
- Dance in a Move Break.
- Play for the class in Spotlight, but only if you want to!
Pages for you
- Your first day: what happens, step by step
- Rules for me: just a few, and they're easy
- What "Data!" means: what happens when a mix crashes
- Bathroom and buddy: how bathroom trips work
- Who to talk to: grown-ups who can help

One big thing to remember
You are the boss of your own "yes" and "no" about playing for people. You never have to perform. Ever.
