63rd Street Beach sits within Jackson (Andrew) Park, which already has a Chicago Park District-recognized Jackson Park Advisory Council (JPAC). Current CPD Advisory Council Guidelines generally recognize only one registered PAC per park. Before anything below is treated as more than a draft, we've asked CPD in writing whether a separate 63rd Street Beach PAC is possible — or whether this becomes a sub-council under JPAC, or an independent community organization instead. Until that comes back, every document here reflects a proposed path, not a settled one.
