Weekly Family Digest (Planned)

A planned, opt-in weekly email summarizing your child's week in Rainbow DJ Lab; it is not built yet.

Status: planned, not built

The weekly family digest does not exist yet. It is a feature we plan to build. Nothing on this page is being sent today.

What the Lab app sends today (by email, through our email provider Resend):

• A registration confirmation, sent when you register.
• An optional session recap after each class, sent only to families who opt in.

See data privacy for exactly what those emails contain and how they're sent.

What the digest would be

A single email once a week, for families who would rather get one summary than a recap after every class.

What we plan to include

• This week's session(s): the rainbow color and session title (for example, "Green: The Three Knobs").
• Your child's week: Passport stamps earned, their traffic-light self-rating, and their own "Next time I'll…" line.
• Coach's glow note, if the coach wrote one.
• Coming up: the next session, and a heads-up for listen-back days or the Rainbow Showcase.
• Family notices: schedule changes or reminders.

What it would never include

• Other children's information.
• Photos or video.
• Ads or tracking pixels.
• Medical, allergy or pickup information.

How it would work

• Opt-in only. You'd choose it at registration or later by contacting us. It would be off unless you turn it on.
• Easy to stop. Every digest would explain how to stop it, and you can always contact Stephen Henry.
• Sent to the guardian email on file only.
• It would use the same email provider and the same rules as the session recap. See third-party vendors.

When

There's no date. We'll update this page when the digest is built and tested. Until then, if you'd find it useful (or wouldn't), tell us: Stephen Henry, 872-255-9333, stephen@selassiefest.com. See feedback.
