For Families

Everything a parent or guardian needs to know about taking part in Rainbow DJ Lab, from the handbook to how to reach us.

Start here

Rainbow DJ Lab is a free DJ class run by Ras Tafari Inc., a Chicago not-for-profit and 501(c)(3) public charity. These pages explain how the Lab works for your family day to day: what to bring, how drop-off and pickup work, how we stay in touch, and how you can watch, ask questions and give feedback.

Status: Proposed. The Lab is not running yet.

  • The Chicago Park District has not approved or permitted the program.
  • No class dates are set, and no staff have been hired.

No class runs until every item on the launch checklist is checked. Where a page below says "to be confirmed," that's why.
