Free Entry, No Refunds
SelassieFest is a 100% free, community-rooted festival. We do not charge for general admission tickets — so there is no payment to refund.
No ticket purchase required. All festival experiences — including live music, sound system yard, Ital food marketplace, healing grove, and cannabis education pavilions — are open to the public at no cost.
Because we never collect payment for entry, refunds are not applicable. If you registered for a free ticket via Eventbrite or our website, that registration is simply a headcount to help us plan capacity. It does not involve a financial transaction.
What about donations or merchandise?
If you made a voluntary donation or purchased merchandise / vendor items through our platform, those transactions are processed separately by third-party payment providers. Please refer to the specific vendor's or platform's refund policy. For SelassieFest-branded merchandise purchased directly through our official store, contact us at info@selassiefest.com and we will handle inquiries on a case-by-case basis.
Registration cancellation
While there's no financial penalty for cancelling a free registration, we kindly ask that you let us know if you can no longer attend — especially if you reserved a spot in a workshop or educational session. This helps us manage capacity and offer your place to someone else.
- Cancel your free ticket: Visit your Eventbrite order page or email us at info@selassiefest.com
- Workshop / session cancellations: Notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can release your spot.
- Group registrations: If you registered a group, please update us on any changes to headcount.
