How It's Played

A high-coordination teamwork race. Partners stand side-by-side, and their inside legs are tied securely together at the ankle using a piece of cloth or rope, effectively giving them three legs instead of four. They must synchronize their strides perfectly to run toward a finish line without tripping over one another.

Cultural Roots

A staple of emancipation celebrations and community fairs, emphasizing synchronization, communication, and mutual reliance between peers.
