How It's Played

A high-stakes kicking and passing game. A group of players kicks a tennis ball around a circle. If a player allows the ball to be kicked directly between their wide-open legs (a "salad"), they are subjected to lighthearted, playful kicks or chases from the rest of the group until they reach a safe zone.

Cultural Roots

A rough-and-tumble street game emphasizing defensive footwork, leg coordination, and thick-skinned humor.
