A creative construction pastime common in rural areas after heavy rains. Children mix red clay earth with water to the ideal consistency, shape the mud into uniform rectangular blocks using small matchboxes or wood scraps as molds, and leave them to dry in the sun. The resulting "bricks" are used to build miniature houses, castles, and miniature animal pens.
